The state government of Odisha has decided to launch an ambitious
scheme named as "Odisha SAMPURNA Yojana" in favor pregnant women. Under the
scheme govt. would provide financial assistance to maternity. This assistance
will be given as the
transportation cost to reach the hospital.
This scheme has been launched by
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. According to cm, this scheme will give directly
benefits for women. Areas, where Ambulances unable to reach hospital. So, that
case govt. would provide Rs. 1000.
State government inviting online
application for SAMPURNA scheme Odisha 2017-18. But, currently no updates about
registration form at the official website. It will be soon uploaded at the
website.

- Main objective of this scheme is reduce the death ration of the new born child and mother mortality rate.
- Govt. will give Rs. 1000 to maternity as transportation cost.

- Around 7853 villages will be covered from 30 districts of Odisha, under this scheme.
