Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti inviting online application for
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2017. Applicants can make online registration
through official website http://www.nvshq.org.
Main objective of this scheme is empowerment education in rural areas. Test
will be held in three languages like English, Math and Science.
However education is free in the school but students of
class 9th and 10th have to pay a nominal fee for lodging,
uniforms and textbooks. Apart from this, students their father are govt.
employee have to pay Rs. 1500 as children education allowance. In addition,
students who belongs Below Poverty Line (BPL) families SC/ST/PWD/Girls are
exempted from payment of the fee.
Features of Navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme
- It will be helpful to improve good quality modern education to the talented students of rural areas.
- To ensure attain a reasonable level of competency in three language.
- To promote national integration through migration of students from Hindi to non-Hindi speaking State and Vice-versa.
