State Government of Uttar Pradesh bringing an ambitious
scheme as named Samuhik Vivah Yojana to replace Shaadi Anudaan Yojana.
According to the information from the department, Saamuhik Vivah Yojana will
start soon across the state. Under this scheme, govt. would provide additional amount
to purchase jewellery for bridal.

Previous Samajwadi government has started this scheme for
backward classes. Under this scheme Rs. 20000 were being given to girls of BPL families.
After that BJP government has closed this scheme and now it will launch Samuhik
Vivah Yojana to benefit poor girls.
Now govt. would provide Rs. 35000 on marriage of girls under
which Rs. 15000 will be given to buy jewellery for girls. Apart from this 20000
will be spend on marriage of girls.
In short, govt. planning to provide Rs. 15000 additional
amount to purchase jewellery for Girls. Its responsibility has been give to
Social Welfare Department.
