The state government of Punjab bringing an ambitious scheme as named Punjab Shehri Awas Yojana 2017. Main objective of this scheme is provide housing for SC/BC families. Punjab Council of Ministers (Com) approved provision for Punjab Shehri Awas Yojana 2017.
This scheme will be helpful to poor people to make their own houses. Main thing is that, scheme will be complete in two phases. As well as, state government of Punjab would provide low interest loans to poor families which annual income less than Rs. 6 Lakh.
Highlight Features Punjab Shehri Awas Yojana 2017
- Under the scheme, two type houses will construct as E.D.C & C.L.U.
- Only which families will avail to get benefit of this scheme which have certificate of BC/LIG & OBC. They have to be charged for few services like Stump Duty, Registrations, Other Cess & Social infrastructure funds.
- Which LIG families annual income is less then Rs. 6 Lakh they will avail to get loan while which MIG families annual income in less than 18 Lakh they will avail to get loan under the scheme.
Eligibility Criteria
Which applicants have land converted into EWS house, Urban Development department would provide houses for them.
Houses will be provide in two phases as you can see below.
In the first phase govt. would provide houses for those families whose annual income is less then Rs. 6 Lakh. Apart from this which candidates maximum annual income is Rs. 5 Lakh, they will avail to get free houses.
