The Assam government launched
Compassionate Family Pension Scheme to give a financial assistance to families
of deceased employee. CFP scheme will be launch to those all employees who died
in harness after 1st April 2017.
Employees who died before getting
their payments, they will avail to get financial support from the government.
This scheme will be covered all government employees of the state.
Eligibility Criteria of CPF Scheme
- Which employee died before getting payments, they will avail to get benefit of CPF scheme.
- Pension will be distribute according to Assam Services Pension Rule 1969.
- Resigned & retired employees will not avail to take benefit of this scheme.
- Benefit of CFP Scheme
- Pension will be covered for a set period time.
- Member will also avail to receive the salary or payment received by the deceased.
- Apart from this, additional allowances will be paid in monthly installments.
- Amount will be given at half of CPF until the age of departed reaches to 67.
In short, main objective of Assam Compassionate Family Pension Scheme is
provide financial assistance to family members of deceased.
