The state government of Chhattisgarh
is going to launch CM Employment Generation
Scheme under Mukhyamantri Rojgaar Srujan Karyakram campaign on this independence
day on 15 August. Main objective of this scheme is provide loan to the educated
unemployed youths in the rural areas. Khadi and Gramodyog Board of Chhattisgarh
will operate Mukhyamantri Rojgaar Srujan Karyakram.
This ambitious scheme launched by
Chief Minister Raman Singh on occasion of completing 5,000 days in office.

application will be invited on its official portal which is not launched yet.
Highlights of CM Employment Generation Scheme
- Under this scheme, govt. would provide loan to the educated unemployed youth of the state.
- 5th standard youth will get up to Rs. 1 lakh loans while 8th standard passed youth will avail to get Rs. 3 Lakh loan for self-employment.
- Khadi and Gramodhyog Board will access this project in the state.
- As well as, for setting of setting up of cottage industry, projects costing upto Rs 25 lakh is sanctioned.
- Khadi and Gramodhyog Board will provide Rs 25 per cent of margin money for General category while female category, ST, SC and OBC class will get Rs. 35 percent by the board.
According to
official statement 7,586 people involved in manufacture of Khadi products as on
March 31, 2015 while 6,502 peoples are spinners and 1,084 peoples are weavers.
