Yogi Adityanath Government has
decided to give Rs. 5000/- to pregnant women
under Pradhan Mantri Matra Vandana Yojana. This ambitious scheme has
been announced in the UP Budget 2017-18 by UP government.
Now Uttra
Pradesh government has directed the health officers to start Pradhan Mantri
Matra Vandana Yojana to give direct benefits in account of maternity.
Govt. would provide Rs. 5000 to pregnant women for their first baby.
Beneficiaries
have to mention their name at the official website nrhm-mcts.nic.in. To
take benefits of this scheme, Aadhar card is mandatory. Women also need to
mention their Aadhaar Card number in the application form.

- This scheme will be direct benefited to pregnant women for their first baby.
- Amount will be given in three phases.
- First installment will be Rs. 1000 issued on on behalf of ANM to register the pregnancy of the woman.
- Second installment will be deposit after six month in beneficiaries account as Rs. 2000/-.
- Pending amount Rs. 2000 will be given, after vaccination of six months on the newborn baby.
- Apart from this, Rs. 1400 will be given to pregnant women under the Janani Suraksha Yojana.
Main objective
of this scheme is provide financial assistant to pregnant lady. Allowance will
be provided in three installment as you have read in above steps. This scheme
will be helpful to work of linking, survey, data feeding and support.
