Vice-President Rahul Gandhi going to start 101 Indira Canteens in Bangalore
today. Under this scheme Karnataka govt. would provide healthy meal at low
prices. Indira canteens will offer healthy meal at
rs. 10/- & breakfast at rs. 5/-.

Apart from this,
many canteen scheme are implemented in state like Anna Bhagya Yojana
to provide free rice to poor (BPL) families. Also Mathru Poorna Yojana
is an ambitious scheme which provided free daily meals to mothers &
pregnant women. Scheme will be
extended to child care centers (Anganwadi Kendra) to covered 12 Lakh children.
In short, Karnataka
govt. ready to start 101 Indira Canteens in Bangalore, there people will get
healthy nutritious food at Rs. 10/- for lunch & Rs. 5/- for breakfast. Govt.
trying to make hunger free state Karnataka through these food schemes.
Main objective of these all scheme is provide
healthy meal to every citizen of the state. It will really helpful to bring a
huge smile on poor people faces.
