New town development authority going to launch Bicycle Sharing Scheme in Kolkata. Bike scheme will help to making Kolkata Population free. These bikes can be access from computers also from any public place with in the NKDA permission. Main features of these bikes its GPS connectivity.
This initiative will be helpful to enable make a green city across state. Earlier NKDA organized Corporate Cycling Competition was organized with Cycle Federation of India and others.
New Town Kolkata Development Authority will see arrangement parking area for bicycle for five years. Battery operated golf carts and e-scooters will be also run to reduce pollution in Kolkata.
